EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY 2011-2012
 
General Information: 2012 marks our 31st year of operation. The spirit of the company comes directly from high standards of conduct, teamwork, and customer service. We provide housing referrals, if contacted by October 1. All positions include perks and other benefits.  Competitive hourly wage. 

Season is approximately mid December to Easter Sunday depending upon snow pack.

Labor. Holiday part-time December 15-January 1. College students invited to apply. Requirements: Must be energetic, love outdoor recreation, and enjoy people. Advancement opportunity. 

Instructors/Guides. Requirements: 2-years snowmobile experience helpful. Guide and/or rental experience in any field required. CPR and 1ST AID CERTIFICATION required. Part-time and full-time. Looking for responsible, self-reliant, and adventurous individual with leadership experience. Position requires both field and office duties. Special projects are assigned to qualified team members. Advancement to management opportunity.

Field Office Staff. Requirements: CPR and 1ST AID CERTIFICATION helpful. Looking for responsible, self-starters. Rental experience in any field helpful. Duties include both office and some field work. Must multi-task well. Use of computers, credit card terminals, Internet, cell phone and mobile communications equipment.  Customer relations and coordination between visitors and staff important.  Office person must be a team player.  Advancement to management opportunity.

Reservations and Field Office Assistant- Full or part-time. May require a split shift.  Positions are 2 evenings, and/or 5 days per week.  Requirements: quickly grasp the schedule, know DJ's programs, website, develop and monitor marketing programs. This person must be available to work as field instructor or assist field office check-ins at times.

Mechanic: 5 years of snowmobile experience.  Part-time as mechanic 2-3 days per week and 2-3 days per week as instructor/guide.  Will train if sufficient mechanical experience in small engine repair.

Manager:  Salary commensurate with experience in the recreation industry.  Requirements -- knowledge of all phases of business management, 3 years experience in any recreation related business.  Emphasis will be placed upon knowledge of safety programs, risk management, customer and employee relations.

Snow-cat Driver:  Salary commensurate with experience in the recreation industry.  Part-time 2 nights per week.
